Integrated MBD Development Environment
pLAB
Integrated model-based development environment
for next-generation power electronics systems.
What is pLAB?
pLAB is an integrated model-based development platform for power electronics control, covering the entire workflow from modeling and MILS to HILS and real-hardware validation.
It provides an integrated development environment based on the V-model. pLAB bridges the gap between simulation and real-world hardware behavior.
Reduce engineering effort in model-based development
- Centralized workflow management, automatic code generation, and synchronized analysis can reduce development time by up to 30%.
- Power electronics–optimized libraries streamline modeling and accelerate development cycles.
- Enables automatic tuning of model and control parameters, reducing engineering effort for operation verification.
- High-precision models generated through automatic parameter tuning provide a foundation for subsequent model-based development and further reduce engineering effort.
Unified V-Model Development Workflow
Centralized management of the entire V-model development workflow, from modeling to real hardware verification.
- All workflows—from modeling to hardware validation and debugging—are managed within a single environment, eliminating the need to switch between tools. (Modeling covers: MILS = control model + plant model; HILS = plant model only.)
- System configurations (e.g., MILS + HILS) are managed centrally within project files.
Synchronized Measurement Analysis
- pLAB automatically performs signal synchronization and overlays multiple waveforms, eliminating manual waveform alignment work.
- Enables intuitive comparison of differences between simulation and actual equipment.
Automatic MILS parameter tuning
Automatic parameter tuning of MILS model parameters based on hardware
- Control parameter optimization can be executed automatically and iteratively.
- Automatically adjusts data sampling decimation for parameter optimization.
- Also enables management of adjustment histories, as well as comparison of parameter values and measurement data at each stage.
